"Mr. Waffles" was a character we created for the hit Fox series MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE. A combination of a costume and a puppet, his mouth was articulated by the performer from inside.
Above are three of the fanciful combatants we made for MONSTER SMASH, a kids show pilot about (what else) monster fights.
We were very excited to be chosen to create Smokey the Bear in a new PSA for the National Forest Service. Played by Total Fabrication president KenNETH Hall, this not only is a return for this classic character but is the first time he's been portrayed by a live actor on screen.

Sony's GameShow Network not only had us make their "Ball Guy" costume, but also commissioned WHAMMY, the title character from their updated version of the "Press Your Luck" series. Based on the computer-generated animation, the walkaround will be used for both taped promos and live appearances.

This commercial for Japanese Credit Bank was filmed in New York and features a full-body monster suit with a foam latex head custom built to fit the performer.

EARL THE ELK has appeared in two seasons of ONE FOR THE HOLIDAYS, the Christmas show at the Alabama Theatre in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This two-person costume stands 8 feet tall, is covered with 100 square feet of custom-made synthetic fur, and features a wide range of self-contained facial animation.
VIEW QUICKTIME MOVIE
We fabricated a full-body creature suit in only three days to bring this stone gargoyle to life. The project was a music video for ONE LAST BREATH by Creed.
6'6" tall THURSTY THE ELEPHANT is the singing, dancing star of a kids show pilot produced in Austin, Texas. The costume has a trunk and mouth that could be operated by the performer. We also made a few sets of colorful wardrobe for him.
This furry, friendly character named RECYCLE, was built for a program that encourages recycling in Los Angeles County schools.

The goofy MR. TORNADO HEAD was a quickie we did for a commercial in Latin America.
Here's our founder and president dressed as a runaway cow in a commercial preaching the nutritional value of white bread for the Interstate Brands Corporation. This costume was one of several we made for the shoot.

Elaborate costumes for two games from Blizzard Entertainment - an Orc from WARCRAFT II (L) and the title character of DIABLO (R). Both characters had a vinyl skin and were used in point-of-purchase advertising as well as for live appearances.
Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit puppets and Joey, a walkaround with an animatronic head, from THE ALL-NEW CAPTAIN KANGAROO.
One of the sinister snowman puppet/costumes fabricated for the horror film JACK FROST.
Wally, the Turtle, a foam-fabricated costume with a sprayed vinyl skin and animatronic features, for the kid's video GUIDEPOSTS JUNCTION.
An actor in a creature suit performing on miniature sets for the video release KRAA, THE SEA MONSTER. The facial movements were radio-controlled.
A bee costume for an early interactive game, BUG BLASTERS.
This fleece-covered frog mask, made for a Japanese shopping mall commercial, was our first project as Total Fabrication.
